Lonesome Day Records was started in 2002 by Randall Deaton. Since that time they have released several successful albums from some of Bluegrass musics top acts. In recent years they have fallen out of the spotlight. With the same passion that drove him to start his record label, Randall feels that now is the time to bring Lonesome Day Records back to the top as a premier service provider for today's bluegrass artist. With a new artist lineup coming soon, they are gearing up for the release of their Bob Seger tribute album "Silver Bullet Bluegrass" set to release later this year. Randall and all the folks at lonesome day are excited to work with Rock House Entertainment.
"Lonesome Day is excited to begin working with Joey Jones and Rock House Entertainment. We believe that Joey brings the same enthusiasm for bluegrass music that we have had for over 10 years. We look forward to a long relationship that will result in the premier service provider for today's bluegrass artist." Said Deaton.
Joey Jones said ," I'm very excited to work with Randall and all the kind folks at Lonesome Day Records. I really like where Lonesome Day is headed from here and I'm happy to be a part of it."
